“Jamie Waters began her formal dance training at the age of five, studying many genres through her studio and highschool competitive years. Deciding to make dance her career, Jamie moved to Cedar City, Utah to attend Southern Utah University. There she was involved in the dance program as well as the dance team. Jamie began to develop her love for creating choreography, was challenged in multiple leadership roles, and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Education.
Jamie lives in Saint George, Utah with her husband and two daughters. For the past twelve years she has worked with many artists, programs, and studios throughout the community; including her work as co-director at On Stage Dance Studio. Jamie has loved working with the Twinkle Star through highschool aged students in a variety of genres and levels. She has also been adjunct faculty at Utah Tech University since 2015. Jamie is grateful for how the studio & community have helped shape her dance career, and looks forward to this coming year.”
